Broomehill은 서부 오스트레일리아의 Great Southern 지역에 있는 Katanning과 Albany 사이의 Great Southern Highway에 있는 마을이다.그것의 지방 정부 지역은 Broomehill-Tambellup의 Shire이다.

역사

Broomehill 마을은 1889년에 완공된 Great Southern Trail 덕분이다.그 철도는 베벌리에서 알바니까지 운행한다.브롬힐은 당시 서호주 주지사였던 프레데릭 네이피어 브롬 경(1842–96)의 이름을 따서 지은 것이다.

골드베어링 쿼츠는 1889년 Broomehill 주변에서 스테이션 마스터에 의해 발견되었다.[2]

같은 해에 패트릭 개리티는 재스퍼 가를 마주보고 있는 두 필지를 구입하여 아연도금 철 호텔을 지었다.1905년까지 그 호텔은 1908년에 증축된 벽돌로 다시 지어졌다.브룸힐 호텔과 후에 임페리얼 호텔로 알려진, 이 두 개의 층층이 있는 턱이 뾰족한 건물은 현재 유산으로 등재되었다.[3]

걷기와 4WD 트랙으로 잘 알려진 홀랜드 트랙은 Broomehill에서 시작하여 Coolgardie에서 끝난다.[18]700km(435mi) 트랙은 1893년 선구자 존 홀랜드가 뉴데게이트를 거쳐 쿨가르디에 있는 금밭까지 덤불을 통해 만들었다.[19]
