비즐리 메달

Beazley Medal
이 상은 휘틀램 정부 시절 연방 교육부 장관이었던 비즐리 시니어(Kim Beazley Sr)의 이름을 딴 것이다.

비즐리 메달학교 커리큘럼 및 표준 기관(이전 호주 커리큘럼 위원회)에서 매년 수여하는 두 개의 상이다.이 상은 호주 중등학생들에게 가장 높은 인지도와 가장 권위 있는 학술상이다.2001년부터 매년 TEE 학생 1명(2010년부터 ACE)과 직업교육훈련(VET) 학생 1명 등 2개의 메달이 수여되고 있다.[1]

이 훈장은 1984년 처음 수여됐으며 김비즐리 전 연방교육부장관의 이름을 딴 것이다.[1]2000년에는 중등학교 직업프로그램에서 최고의 성적을 입증한 학생을 위해 새로운 학생상인 직업학 우수상이 도입되었다.[2]그 상은 그 동등한 지위를 반영하기 위해 이듬해 Beazley Medal: BEAT로 이름이 바뀌었다.[3]
