아즈라이트 FDPSO는 1988년 현대중공업 조선소에서 초대형 원유운반선(VLCC)으로 건조됐다.1988~1990년에는 Fina Europe, 1990~1993년에는 Sanco Europe, 1993~1997년에는 MT [6]Europe였습니다.그녀는 2007년 7월부터 [4][7]2009년 2월까지 케펠 조선소에서 VLCC에서 FDSO로 전환되었다.

Azurite FDPSO는 140만 배럴(220×10^3m3)의 원유를 저장할 수 있다.처리능력은 하루 6만배럴(9.5×10^3m3/d), 오일 4만배럴(6.4×[7]10^m/3d3)이다.
