아조레스 고원
Azores Plateau
아조레스 고원 또는 아조레스 플랫폼(Azores Platform)은 북대서양에 있는 아조레스 군도와 아조레스 트리플 접점을 아우르는 해양 고원이다.[1] 그것은 2천만년 전에 아조레스의 핫스팟에 의해 형성되었고 여전히 활발한 화산 활동과 관련이 있다.[1][2]
고원은 해발 2000m(6600ft) 이하의 삼각형 모양의 큰 화성 지방으로 이루어져 있다.[3][4]
