오스트레일리아 방송 통제 위원회
Australian Broadcasting Control Board오스트레일리아 방송통제위원회는 1949년에 설립된 호주 정부기관으로, 상업용 라디오와 텔레비전 방송을 규제하는 것이 주된 역할이었다.[1]FM방송의 소개자 겸 규제자였다.[2]
이 기획사는 공청회를 개최하고, 상업방송 면허를 발급하며, 국가 및 상업방송망에 대한 기술 계획을 수행하였다.[3]우체국장부는 국가 송신기 설비의 공학 기능을 담당했다.상업방송은 자체 시공과 설치를 책임졌다.[4]
호주 방송 재판소는 1970년대에 호주 방송 통제 위원회의 기능을 이어받았다.
경우에 따라 엔지니어링 기능은 우체국이 국가 방송 서비스에 대한 책임을 그만 두면서 국가 송수신청에 의해 처리되었다.ABC는 항상 국가 방송국의 스튜디오 섹션을 다루었다. 호주 방송국은 호주 방송 재판소의 기능을 맡았다.
2005년 7월 1일, 호주 방송국과 호주 통신청이 합병되어 새로운 기관인 호주 통신 및 미디어 기관을 만들었다.
