아우구스투스 메이휴

아우구스투스 셉티머스 메이휴(1826년 – 1875년 12월 25일)는 런던에서 태어난 영국의 언론인이자 작가였다.He wrote in collaboration with his brother Henry such works as The Greatest Plague of Life, or the Adventures of a Lady in Search of a Good Servant (1847, illustrated by George Cruikshank), and he joined H. S. Edwards in the production of such farces as The Goose and the Golden Eggs (Strand Theatre, 1859); Christmas Boxes (Strand, 1860);4촌(Globe Theatre, 1871년)1848년부터 1850년까지 그는 자신이 1845년부터 기고자로 활동했던 코믹 연가를 편집했으며, 그의 개별 작품으로는 《금으로 포장된 금으로 포장된》이나 《런던 거리의 로맨스와 현실》(1857), 《운명의 얼굴》(3권, 1865) 등이 있다.
