Arch Hurd는 Arch Linux 기반의 운영체제이지만 Linux [1]커널 대신 GNU Hurd 커널을 사용합니다.
Arch Hurd 프로젝트는 2010년 1월에 Arch Linux 포럼[2] 스레드를 기반으로 시작되었으며, 몇 주 후에 가상 [3]머신에서 부팅할 수 있는 수준까지 진행되었습니다.Hurd에 [1]Arch와 같은 사용자 환경(BSD 스타일의 init 스크립트, i686-optimized 패키지, pacman 패키지 매니저 사용, 롤링 릴리스 및 KISS 셋업)을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있습니다.
2021년 4월[update] 현재 공식 패키지는 2019년 [4]5월에 마지막으로 업데이트되었습니다.
소규모 개발팀이 [5]있지만 실제 하드웨어에서 [6]부팅하고 모든 것을 기본 웹 [7]서버로 패키징하며 비공식 그래피컬 [8][9][10]LiveCD를 제작하는 등 창사 이래 많은 진전이 있었습니다.
