응용 즉흥연주는 컨설팅, 훈련, 교수 등 다양한 비연극 분야에서 즉흥연극 방식을 적용한 것이다.

역사

응용 즉흥연주는 1990년대 후반 사회과학의 성과적 전환과 함께 시작되었다.[1]공연과 즉흥연주에 대한 집중도가 높아지면서 비연극 분야에서도 즉흥연주법을 적용하게 되었다.[2]2002년에는 응용 즉흥연주를 이용하는데 전념하는 사람들의 비영리 단체인 응용 즉흥연주 네트워크가 설립되었다.[3]

응용 즉흥연주는 컨설팅과 기업 교육, 특히 영업과 리더십 분야에서 활용될 것으로 본다.[4][5]응용 즉흥성은 디자인 사고, 서비스 디자인, UX 디자인에도 자주 사용된다.[6][7][8]

비즈니스 세계 외에도, 응용 즉흥연주는 재난 준비 훈련, 드라마 치료, 의학, 교육에서 활용될 것으로 본다.[9][10][11][12]
