53 아리에티스(약칭 53 Ari)는 양자리 북쪽 별자리에 있는 변수별이다.53 Arietis는 Flamsteed 명칭이다. 그것은 또한 가변 별 명칭인 UW Arietis도 포함하고 있다.B형 주계열성으로, B1.5V의[3] 별 분류와 평균 겉보기 등급 6.10으로 [2]육안 가시성이 하한에 가깝다.연간 시차 변화량 3.92 mas에 근거하여,[1] 이 별까지의 추정 거리는 대략 800 광년(250 파섹)이다.
53 아리에티스는 베타 세페이 변수다.[4]이웃에 비해 특이 속도가 48.1km/s인 가출성 별이다.[6]이 별은 약 4백만 년 전 오리온 성운에서 분출되었는데, 아마도 궤도를 도는 동반자가 초신성으로 폭발했을 때였을 것이다.[9]
