2018 아삼판차야트 선거가 2018년 12월 5일과 9일 두 단계로 치러졌다.[3][4] 개표는 12월 12일에 시작되었고 결과는 12월 15일에 발표되었다.[5] 1560만 명 이상이 투표할 수 있었고 투표율은 78%를 넘었다.[6][7][8]

바라티야 자나타당은 총 11,325석을 차지했고 [2][9]인도국민회의는 8,970석을 얻었다. 다른 정당들은 6,489석을 얻었다.[2][10][11][12]

배경

1994년 아삼 판차야트 라지 법에서는 주(州)에 마을, 중·구(區) 차원에서 판차야티 라지 3단계 체제를 구축하기 위한 규정을 만들었다.[13]

선거일정

아삼 주 선거 위원회는 투표가 두 단계로 진행될 것이라고 발표했다. 1단계 투표는 2018년 12월 5일에, 2단계 투표는 2018년 12월 9일에 실시되었다. 전국 26개 구에서 2018년 12월 12일부터 최종 개표 작업이 시작됐다.[6][14]

In first phase, polls were held in Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Sivsagar, Charaideo, Jorhat, Majuli, Golaghat, Nagaon, Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Biswanath, Sonitpur, Darrang, Morigaon, Kamrup (Metro) and Kamrup districts. 2단계에서는 날바리, 바르페타, 봉게가온, 뒤브리, 남살마라 만카차르, 골파라, 카차르, 하일라칸디, 카림간지, 호자이 지구에서[15] 선거가 실시되었다.
