1stdibs(stylished, 1stDibs)는 전자상거래 기업이다. 온라인 마켓플레이스를 갖추고 있어 인테리어용 고급 가구, 미술품, 보석류 등 명품들을 판매하고 있다.[5][6] 이 회사는 "골동품 사업을 21세기에 밀어넣는 것"[7]으로 인정받았다.

역사

1Dibs는 2000년 마이클 브루노가 프랑스 파리의 마르세 아우슈푸스(Marché Aux Puce)를 방문한 뒤 골동품 온라인 명품시장으로 설립한 회사다.[8] 아마존닷컴은 미술품 딜러들이 오프라인으로 판매하는 리스트 사이트로 시작했지만 2013년 구매자들에게 온라인에서 상품을 구매할 수 있는 선택권을 주기 위해 사이트를 재설계했다.[2] 진위 여부를 위해 공인 대리점으로 상장을 제한하고,[9] 대리점이 회사 수수료 등을 피하기 위해 오프라인에서 협상을 마치는 것을 막았다는 점에서 정밀검사를 받았다.[7]

2015년 1Dibs는 벤처캐피털 기업인 인사이트 파트너스로부터 5000만 달러를 모금했다. 그 자금의 일부는 일상적인 업무에서 벗어난 브루노의 주식을 매입하는 데 쓰였다. 이번 인상은 인사이트의 데벤 파레흐를 사내 이사회에 추가했다.[10]

2019년 3월 7600만 달러의 시리즈 D 자금 지원을 완료했다. 현재까지 1억7000만달러의 자금을 지원받았으며 평가액은 5억달러가 넘는다.[11][12] 2019년 2월 현재 1Dibs는 28개국 4000여 딜러와 함께 일하고 있다.[13]

1Dibs는 2019년 12월 새 건물주가 대규모 공사 착공에 들어가자 터미널 입점을 마감했다.[14]

2021년 3월 1Dibs는 COVID-19 대유행의 결과로 온라인 쇼핑이 증가하고 소셜 네트워크 인스타그램을 통한 수요가 증가함에 따라 빈티지 제품에 대한 수요가 20% 증가했으며, 일부 카테고리는 80%[15] 증가했다.
