제타 카멜레온티스(Zeta Chamaelontis)는 ζ 카멜레온티스(Chamaelontis)에서 라틴어로 표기된 별로, 카멜레온자리에 위치한 별이다. 약 570광년 거리에 위치하고 있으며, 태양의 약 522배 정도의 광도로 빛나고 표면 온도는 13,544K이다.[3] 남아공 천문학자 A.W.J. Councils는 1960년에 5.06과 5.17의 크기에 따라 다르다고 지적했다.[4] 히파르코스와 타이코 카탈로그(ESA 1997년)에서는 베타 세페이 변수로 분류되었고,[5] 기간은 1.07일이었다가 2011년 버전에서는 슬로우 맥동 B 별로 재분류되었다.[6]

유효온도 15000 켈빈, 절대규모 -1.02, 질량 5.9의 B5V 왜성이다. 태양으로부터 165.1pc(538.5광년) 떨어져 있다.
