예리야

Yerliyya

17세기 오스만 제국에서는 예리야는 여러 해 전에 도시 중심지로 보내져 주변 환경에 완전히 통합되어 종종 그 지역의 상업적, 정치적 삶에 중요한 역할을 했던 지역 재니세리였다.[1]

야니세리스의 다른 하위 그룹은 카푸스쿨루로 알려져 있었다; 이들은 오스만 술탄으로부터 직접 명령을 받아 파견된 야니세리였다. 일반적으로 카푸스쿨루는 예리야보다 포르테에 훨씬 더 충성스러웠다. 제국의 많은 부분에서 이 두 그룹의 재니세리 사이에서 발전하였고, 1826년 재니세리스가 폐지될 때까지 지속되었다.[2]
