Yaboot

야부트(Yeet et other boot[1] loader)는 Linux를 실행하는 PowerPC 기반 하드웨어의 부트 로더다.[2][3]

역사

2009년 폴 나스라트에 의해 유지보수가 토니 피어즈에게 넘겨졌다.[4]

하드웨어 지원

지원에는 New World ROM Macintosh와 IBM RS/6000 시스템이 포함된다.그것은 "OldWorld" PowerMacs를 지원하지 않는다.[2]

부팅 절차

이전 BootX와 같은 Mac OS 9 프로그램으로 작동하는 대신 대부분의 시스템에 공통적으로 사용되는 Open Firmware 계층 내에서 실행되도록 구축되었다.

야부트는 LILO, GNU GRUB와 비슷하다.[5]Yaboot는 다음 단계를 사용하여 부팅한다.[3]

  1. Open Firmware에서 Yaboot를 호출함
  2. 부트 장치, 부트 경로 찾기 및 부트 파티션 열기
  3. 개봉하다/etc/yaboot.conf또는 명령 껍데기
  4. 이미지 또는 커널 로드 및 initrd
  5. 이미지 실행
