신디
xindy신디는 도서 색인을 분류하고 포맷하는 유연한 프로그램이다.조아힘 슈로드에 의해 MakeIndex의 후계자로 쓰여졌다.신디는 특히 LaTeX와 트로프를 포함한 다양한 프로그램에 대한 인덱싱을 지원하고 데이터의 복잡한 지수를 생산한다.
신디는 LaTeX에서 가장 널리 사용되는 색인 프로그램 중 하나로 인용된다.[1]xindy는 MakeIndex와 달리 영어 외에 많은 언어에 대한 강력한 지원, 유니코드를 포함한 많은 표준 문자 인코딩이 특징이다.[2]
