W10BM은 켄터키 주 모어헤드에 있는 폐허가 된 저전력 텔레비전 방송국으로, 후에 무면허로 운영되어 연방통신위원회로부터 해적 방송국으로 벌금을 부과받았다.
허가된 방송 용어
FCC는 1987년 12월 4일까지 W10BM에 대한 개정된 건축허가와 1990년 3월 29일까지 면허를 허가했다.[1][2] 면허 갱신은 1998년 8월 1일에 만료되었다.[3] 허가된 매개 변수는 지상 30m(98ft) 상공에서 18와트(와트)로, 켄터키 주 스털링 산에 있는 우체국 박스에서 면허를 가진 모어헤드 시와 Vearl Pennington이라는 이름의 TV 채널 10에서 방송되었다.[4]
2004년 4월 27일 FCC는 모어헤드의 W10BM과 스털링산의 W06BC가 FCC의 응답을 받지 않는 한 취소된다는 내용의 편지를 스털링 마운트 우체국 박스에 보냈다.[5] 2004년 10월 18일, 같은 주소로 서신을 보내, 응답이 없으며, 두 역 면허가 모두 취소되었다.[6]
해적 방송 및 벌금
2017년 5월 12일 FCC는 면허취소에도 불구하고 10BM을 계속 운영한 것에 대해 방송국 운영자인 Vearl Pennington과 Michael Williamson에게 144,344달러의 벌금을 부과했다.[7] 벌금은 2019년 1월 28일에 유지되었다.[8]
