USA 라디오 네트워크(USA Radio Network)는 미국의 대중매체 회사로, 롱폼 구어(Talk Radio)와 라디오 뉴스방송을 전문으로 하며, 전반적으로 보수적인 초점을 두고 제작·배포되었다.
USA 라디오 네트워크는 24시간 뉴스, 뉴스/토크, 정보, 의견, 토크/엔터테인먼트 라디오 프로그래밍을 두 개의 상시 위성 채널을 통해 그리고 다양한 디지털 프로토콜 시스템을 통해 전세계 약 1,100개의 라디오 방송국에 생산하고 배포한다. 네바다주 엘리시의 플래그십 스테이션 KELY, 네바다주 토크 네트워크 스테이션, 텍사스주 KBDT 하이랜드 파크 등이 자체 운영된다.
그것은 NBCUniversal 케이블의 USA 네트워크와 아무런 관련이 없다.
역사
USA 라디오 네트워크는 Marlin Maddoux에 의해 1985년에 설립되었다. 매덕스는 1972년부터 댈러스에서 자신의 지역 보수적인 뉴스 토크 프로그램인 Point of View를 진행해왔다.[1] 1982년 이 프로그램은 위성 라디오 네트워크를 통해 전국에 방송되기 시작했다. 매덕스는 주요 네트워크가 서비스하지 않는 라디오 방송국에 대한 전국 뉴스 서비스의 필요성을 확인했다. 새로 전세 낸 USA 라디오 네트워크는 1985년 9월 15일 위성을 통해 첫 뉴스 방송을 내보냈다.[1] 매덕스는 2004년 3월 4일에 세상을 떠났다.[1]
2008년에 USA 라디오 네트워크는 테네시주 멤피스의 래리 베이츠 산하의 회사 구조를 정보 라디오 네트워크와 합병하였고, 두 네트워크에서의 프로그래밍은 별개로 남아 있었다. 이 결합 회사는 IRN/USA 라디오 네트워크로 알려져 있었다. 구 IRN은 IRN/USA-1이 되고, 기존 USA 라디오 네트워크 2개 채널과 3개 채널이 되었다.IRN/US 라디오 네트워크는 자매회사인 퍼스트 아메리칸 머니컨설턴트의 법적 문제로 2013년 법정관리에 들어갔다.[2] 크로스플랫폼미디어는 크로스플랫폼이 2014년 9월 법정관리에서 매입할 때까지 법원의 지휘를 받아 매일 네트워크 관리를 맡았다.
크로스 플랫폼 미디어는 즉시 IRN 모니커를 제거하고, IRN의 모든 프로그램을 종료하고, USA 라디오 뉴스 개편과 프로그래밍 라인업 재구축이 포함된 활성화 프로그램의 첫 번째 단계로 원래의 USA 라디오 네트워크 브랜드를 다시 출시했다. 러스 존스는 24시간 뉴스 부서를 감독하기 위해 수석 부사장 겸 뉴스 담당 이사로 나섰다.[3]
2015년 10월 9일, 디지털 및 소셜 뉴스 웹사이트 전문 회사인 Liftable Media는 크로스 플랫폼 미디어로부터 USA Radio Networks를 인수하였다.[4][5] 10월 15일, 리프트블은 국가적으로 유명한 보수적인 토크쇼 진행자였던 러스티 험프리를 프로그래밍의 수석 부사장으로 고용했다.[6] 네바다주 와쇼밸리에 본사를 둔 네바다라디오는 2018년 이 네트워크를 인수했다.[7] 그리고 나서 험프리와의 관계를 끊었다.[8]
Daybreak USA는 방송국에서 오랫동안 운영되어 온 아침 뉴스 잡지다.[9] 게리 놀런과 크리스티 시스네로스가 주최하는 이 대회는 평일 오전 6시부터 9시까지 열린다.
USA 라디오는 2015년 12월 와이어트 콕스를 기내에 들여와 24시간 라디오 크리스마스 특집을 제작했다.[10] 구시대의 라디오 방송은 몇 년 동안 네트워크의 주요 요소였다. 2015년 12월 26일부터는 '클래식 라디오 극장'[11]이라는 우산 제목으로 방송되고 있다. 네트워크의 다른 메인스트림으로는 데릭 헌터, 웨인 앨리언 루트, 론 세기, 믹 윌리엄스, 찰리 존스 등이 있다.
