투라가
Turaga피지안에서는 투라가(Turaga)가 남자를 가리키는 말이다.
투라가니코로(Turaga-ni-Koro)는 보통 마을 사람들이 뽑거나 임명하는 촌장(Koro)의 호칭이다.[1]시의 행정관이나 시장의 일종으로 현대적인 피지 정부 구조에서 핵심적인 역할을 하며 소정의 정부수당을 받는다.[2]
마찬가지로 마타칼리(클란)의 추장은 투라가니마타칼리로 알려져 있다.투라가의 정확한 역사적 지위는 공동의 토지 소유권에 관한 갈등에 중요한 역할을 했다.[3]
