토니 제임스 윌킨슨(Tony James Wilkinson, FBA, 1948년 8월 14일 ~ 2014년 12월 25일)은 영국의 고고학자 및 학술가로, 조경 고고학과 고대 근동학을 전문으로 한다. 2005년부터 2006년까지 에든버러 대학교 고고학 교수,[1][2] 2006년부터 2014년 사망할 때까지 더럼 대학교 고고학 교수였다.

초년기

윌킨슨은 1948년 8월 14일에 태어났고 영국 에섹스에서 자랐다.[2] 1966년부터 1969년까지 런던대학교 비르크벡에서 지리학을 공부하여 학사([3]BSC) 학위를 받고 졸업하였다.[4] 그 후 그는 1972년 캐나다 온타리오 주 맥마스터 대학에서 석사학위를 받으며 졸업했다.[2][5] 그는 결코 박사학위를 취득하지 않았다.[4]

학력

사생활

1995년 윌킨슨은 엘리너 로즈 바베인과 결혼했다.[4] 그녀는 또한 고고학자였고, 남편과 여러 프로젝트와 출판물에 대해 협력했다.[8]

명예
