피쿠스 노타는 모라과과에 속하는 꽃식물 종이다.[2] 흔히 경골이나 자루나무로 알려져 있으며, 낮은 고도에서 물 근처에서 발견되는 무화과나무의 한 종이다. 티비그는 필리핀 태생이다. 그들은 또한 말레이시아 보르네오 북부 일부에서도 발견된다.그 나무는 높이가 9미터까지 자랄 수 있다. 그것은 주로 과일을 먹고 씨앗을 배설하는 새에 의해 분산된다. 이 과일들은 다소 싱겁지만 인간에게도 먹을 수 있다. 필리핀에서는 보통 설탕과 크림과 함께 먹는다. 어린 잎도 채소로 먹는다.[3][4][5]
