역사
디스패치는 T.B.가 창간한 주간지 데이비드슨 디스패치(1882–1902)의 뒤를 이어 1902년에 출판되기 시작했다. 엘드리지[6][7] 이 논문은 1919년 반주 단위로, 1948년 9월 6일 주 6일 주 6일 일정으로 늘어났다.[8][9] 2008년 9월 1일, 이 간행물은 월요일판을 삭제하고 5일만 발행되었다.[4]
뉴욕타임즈 회사는 1973년에 디스패치를 인수했고,[9] 핼리팩스 미디어 그룹은 2012년 1월 6일에 인수했다.[3] 2015년 핼리팩스는 뉴미디어투자그룹에 인수됐다.[10]
