석재공업
Stone industry석재 산업은 광공업과 유사하지만 특히 화강암, 대리석, 슬레이트, 사암 등 석재 발굴에 관련된 경제의 1차 분야를 말한다. 그 산업의 다른 제품들로는 찌그러진 돌과 차원 돌이 있다.
석공업은 세계에서 가장 오래된 산업 중 하나이다. 남아공 지역에서 석기(마이크로리스 산업)의 창조는 약 6만~7만년 전으로 거슬러 올라간다.[1] 화강암과 대리석 채굴은 고대 이집트까지 존재했다.[2] 찌그러진 돌은 고대 그리스와 고대 로마와 같은 최초의 위대한 도로 건설 문명들에 의해 광범위하게 사용되었다.[3]
