States Newsroom은 미국의 면세 기관으로, 진보적인 편집 전망을 가진 주 중심 뉴스 매체의 종합 조직 역할을 하고 있다.2019년 출범한 이 사업은 기부자를 공개하지 않는 좌파 성향의 비영리단체인 희망웰펀드의 후원사업으로 시작됐다.[1][2]크리스 피츠시몬이 설립한 노스캐롤라이나의 진보적 싱크탱크인 NC Policy Watch에서 성장했다.피츠시몬은 States Newsroom의 이사 겸 출판사다.[3]
