스프링필드 무기고 SAT는[a] 스프링필드 무기고가 제조한 AR-15 스타일의 반자동 화기 시리즈다.[2] 2016년 11월 도입된 이 시리즈는 소총, 단발소총(SBR), 권총 등이 있다.[4] 변형 모델들은 SEAT, SEAT Victor, SEAT Edge 브랜드 이름으로 판매된다. 이 시리즈는 주로 5.56 NATO로 구성되며 일부 모델은 .308 윈체스터 또는 .300 블랙아웃에서도 사용할 수 있다.

역사

최초 SEAT 오퍼링은 2016년 11월 도입된 5.56 NATO에서 16인치(410mm) 배럴의 AR-15형 소총이었다.[5] 이어서 미국의 라이플맨 잡지에 의해 2017년 올해의 전술총으로 선정되었다.[6] 2017년 11월 팔뚝 브레이스를 포함한 권총 버전이 도입됐다.[7] 2018년 4월 300번 블랙아웃에서 쩔쩔매는 권총 모델이 추가됐다.[8] 라이플 오퍼링은 2019년 7월 M-LOK 호환 손잡이와 옵션인 플립업 전면 시력으로 업데이트됐으며,[9] 2019년 10월 상쾌한 권총이 출시됐다.[10]

SAT 엣지 모델은 모듈식 트리거 시스템과 중형 충전 손잡이, 주둥이가 달린 브레이크가 특징인 2017년 11월 중순 출시됐다.[11] 1년 후, 권총 버전의 엣지가 추가되었다.[12] 교정기가 다른 엣지 권총 2개가 2020년 1월 추가로 발표됐다.[13]

라이플, 권총, 단발총 등 중거리 SEAT 빅터 변종이 2019년 1월 발표됐다.[14] 이후 윈체스터 3할8푼8리, 라이플은 2019년 4월,[15] 권총은 2020년 1월에 발표되었다.[13]

스프링필드 아모리 웹사이트에는 2020년 5월 현재 세 가지 SAT 라이플 오퍼링이 나열되어 있는데, 각각 M-LOK 핸드 가드와 M16(비강화) 볼트 캐리어 그룹이 있다. 하나는 플립 업 시야, 두 개는 A2(고정면) 시야가 있다.[16][17][18] SAT 사용자들은 또한 향상된 M16 볼트 캐리어 그룹과 볼거리가 없는 구형 모델에 주목했다.
