2018년[7] 9월 26일에 첫 시즌이 초연되었고 10월에 풀 시즌이 오더되었고, 추가 에피소드가 추가되어 총 23회에 걸쳐 방영되었다.[8][9]싱글 어버이즈는 2019년 9월 25일 초연된 ABC에[10] 의해 두 번째 시즌을 위해 갱신되었다.[11]2020년 5월 21일, ABC는 두 시즌 만에 시리즈를 취소했다.[12]
