ShopStyle

숍스타일(ShopStyle)은 에비츠가 소유한 디지털 쇼핑 플랫폼이다.[1]2007년 패션을 위한 웹 검색 엔진으로 출시되었으며, 이후 패션 시장과 영감 엔진으로 탈바꿈하였다.[2]ShopStyle은 의류, 액세서리, 뷰티, 가정용 가구, 키즈 용품 등 전 분야에 걸쳐 1,400만개가 넘는 제품을 나열하고 있다.1400개 유통업체로 구성된 글로벌 네트워크로 총 매출 10억달러를 견인한다.[3]숍스타일은 1만4000명의 블로거, 블로거, 블로거, 소셜미디어[4] 사용자들이 모여 숍스타일 콜렉티브를 통해 자신이 몰고 다니는 판매로 돈을 벌기도 하는 네트워크인 숍스타일 콜렉티브의 커머스 엔진이기도 하다.

역사

ShopStyle은 2006년 샌프란시스코에 본사를 둔 영국출신 앤디 모스로부터[5] 현지 전자상거래 사이트 카이로를[citation needed] 운영하던 중, 그곳에서 검색되는 가장 인기 있는 품목 중 하나가 신발이라는 것을 알게 되었다.[6][7]ShopStyle의 이면에 있는 기술은 Trey Matteson,[8] Garrick Toubassi[9], Mike Lenz 등 Moss가 아리바(현 SAP Ariba)에서 근무하면서 만난 엔지니어 그룹이 만들었다.[10]미국 웹사이트는 잡지 같은 경험을 디지털로 재현하기 위한 시도로 미학과 사용자 경험에 중점을 두고 2007년 2월에 출범했다.쇼핑몰이나 쇼핑 가능한 디지털 잡지에 해당하는 온라인 상으로 다양하게 묘사되었다.[7]2007년 9월, PopSugar Inc. (당시 Sugar Publishing)는 미공개 금액으로 ShopStyle을 매입했다.[11][12]숍스타일은 인수 후 2015년 말까지 글로벌 사이트 '샵스타일'이 매주 500만건의 검색결과를 내고 1,400여개 유통업체에서 1200만건의 상품을 상장하며 제품수 확대, 유통업체 확대, 패션[13] 검색엔진화에 주력했다.[14]
