쉘링포드 교차로 채석장은 옥스퍼드셔의 베일에 있는 스탠포드 서부에서 2.6헥타르(6.4에이커)의 지질학적 요충지다.[1][2]그것은 지질 보존 검토 현장이다.[3]

이 사이트는 약 1억 6천만년 전 옥스퍼드 시대의 후기 쥬라기 시대의 코랄리안 그룹의 암석을 공개하고 있다.산호초와 암초 분뇨의 화석을 많이 가지고 있으며, 옥스포드 성층화의 복잡성을 보여주는 한 예로서도 중요하다.[4]
