Roderick James Hunt MBE는 영국의 아동 작가다.그의 가장 유명한 이야기 시리즈는 The Magic Key로 1985년 알렉스 브라이치타 엠베에 의해 옥스퍼드 읽기 트리의 일부로 처음 쓰여졌다.원래 30층이었는데, 지금은 400층이 넘는다.
교육
헌트는 체스터 대학에서 신과 영어를 공부했고 2008년 교육에서 문맹에 대한 봉사로 MBE를 받았다.[1]
경력
매직 키 책은 영국 초등학교의 80% 이상이 다른 120여 개국에 있는 학교 외에도 어린이들이 읽는 것을 돕기 위해 사용하고 있다.[2]그의 이야기를 묘사한 알렉스 브라이치와 함께 2009년 교육자원상 우수 공로상을 수상했다.[3]
'마법의 열쇠' 외에도, 헌트는 많은 다른 이야기들뿐만 아니라 '집에서 읽다'와 '울프 힐' 시리즈의 작가이기도 하다.[1]
