조기생활과 교육

Rohrich는 North Dakota 시골에서 자랐다.[7]노스다코타 주립대학과 노스다코타 대학에서 학부 및 대학원 교육을 수료한 후 베일러 의과대학에서 의학 학위를 취득했다.[8][4]미시간대 의과대학에서 일반외과와 성형외과 잔류 후 영국 옥스퍼드대에서 소아성형 추가 교육을 받았고, 매사추세츠 종합병원/하버드 의과대학에서 손과 미세혈관 펠로우십을 했다.[9]

경력

로리히는 1986년 댈러스 UT 서남부병원의 성형외과 과에 입사했고 1991년 프리츠 바튼의 뒤를 이어 학과장으로 취임했다.[9]2003년에 그는 2004년 미국 성형외과 협회의 회장으로 선출되었다.[10]2005년, 로리히는 성형 재건 수술 저널의 편집장으로 임명되었다.[11]

로리히는 UT-남서부 성형외과가 국내 최대 성형외과가 됐을 때 회장을 맡아 외래 성형외과 개원을 도왔다.[12]2014년까지 로리히는 텍사스 주립대 서남부의료원 교직원으로서 텍사스 주에서 가장 많은 보수를 받는 주 직원 중 한 명이었다.그는 '비전문적 행위 의혹' 이후 UT 서남부병원 성형외과 이사장직에서 물러났다.[13]2016년 UT 서남부병원에서 사임했고,[14] 이후 댈러스 성형외과에서 창립 파트너로 활동했다.[15]
