로버트 H. 휴센
Robert H.로버트 H. 휴센(Hewsen, 1934년 5월 20일 ~ 2018년 11월 17일)은 미국의 역사학자 겸 로완 대학교 역사학 교수였다. 그는 남캅카스 고대사의 전문가였다.[2] 휴센은 아르메니아: 역사 아틀라스(2001)의 저자로, 주요 참고서로서 아르메니아 학문의 중요한 업적으로 호평을 받았다.[3][4][5]
전기
휴센은 로버트 H로 태어났다. 1934년 뉴욕의 휴세니안에서[6] 아르메니아계 미국인 부모에게. 그는 7년 동안 유럽에서 미 공군과 함께 공부했다.[7] 1967년 메릴랜드 대학에서 역사학 학사 학위를, 조지타운 대학에서 박사 학위를 받았다. 같은 해 그는 로완 대학의 역사학과에 입학하여 30년 이상 비잔틴과 러시아 역사를 가르쳤다. 휴센 교수는 1999년 7월 로완대에서 은퇴한 뒤 시카고대 컬럼비아대 캘리포니아주립대 프레스노대 캘리포니아대 등에서 강연했다.[8]
