클라이스트 강
River Clyst
클라이스트 강은 영국 데본의 강이다.이 이름은 고대 영어에서 유래했으며, Clean-stream으로 번역됩니다(클라이드 웨일스의 이름은 비슷한 [1]기원을 가지고 있습니다).이 강은 클라이스트 호니톤, 클라이스트 세인트로렌스, 클라이스트 세인트 조지, 브로드캐스트 등 여러 정착촌에 이름을 붙였다.클라이스트 윌리엄의 윌리엄 부분은 강의 근원을 [2]뜻하는 고대 영어인 부엘름에서 유래했다.
Cullompton 근처의 Clyst William 마을 근처에서 발원하는 이 강은 서쪽과 남서쪽으로 24마일(38km)에 걸쳐 흐르며, 클라이스트 [3]밸리에서 발원하는 Norman's Green, Plymtree, Clyst Hidon, Clyst St. Lawrence, Westwood의 정착지를 통해 흐릅니다.
