R 노매(R Normae)는 노마(Norma)의 남쪽 별자리에 있는 에타 노매[10](Eta Normae) 근처에 위치한 미라 변수 별이다.이것은 수소융합을 통해 에너지의 일부를 발생시키고 있는 중질량 적색거성별이다.이 융합은 대류 조건에서 일어나는 것으로 생각되기 때문에 리튬의 과잉을 발생시키고 있다.[11]항성은 진도 6.5에서 12.8까지이며 비교적 긴 기간이 496일이다.[4]약 2,900광년[7] 거리에 위치하고 있으며, 태양의 7764배의 광도로 빛나고 표면 온도는 3161K이다.[8]
