피알바는 오스트레일리아 퀸즐랜드 주 프레이저 코스트 지역에 있는 허베이(Hervey Bay)의 해안 도시 및 중심 업무 교외 지역이다.[2][3]2016년 인구조사에서 피알바는 3,678명의 인구를 가지고 있었다.[1]

지리

피알바는 허베이 만 남쪽 해안에 있는 브리즈번 북쪽 294km(183mi) 지점에 위치해 있다.허베이 만 마을의 중심 상권이다.

역사

이 지역은 원래 Point Vernon으로 알려졌는데, 한 마을을 조사하고[when?] 폴슨이라는 이름을 붙이기 전까지는 말이다.1931년 3월 19일 마을 이름은 피알바로 바뀌었고, 그 이름이 오랫동안 사용되어 온 것을 반영하였다.[2][4]
