페트루스 호프스테데 데 그루트

네덜란드 신학자 페트루스 호프스테데데 드 그루트(Petrus Hofstede de Groot, 1802년 10월 8일 ~ 1886년 12월 5일)는 이스트 프라이스랜드의 리르에서 태어났으며, 체육관과 그로닝겐 대학에서 교육을 받았다.

3년(1826년~1829년) 동안 울럼의 개혁교회 목사를 지냈고, 그 후 그로닝엔의 신학 교수로 평생의 의무를 다했다.동료 루이스 게라크 파로, 요한 프레데릭 판 오드트, 빌렘 무울링과 함께 1837년부터 1872년까지 리프데에 있는 와헤이드를 편집했다.이 평론과 그의 수많은 저서에서 그는 네덜란드의 "현대 신학" 운동에 대항하는 정통 신앙을 힘차게 지지했다.1872년 명예교수가 되었고, 1886년 12월 5일 그로닝겐에서 사망하였다.
