피터 데이비드 몬테아스(Peter David Monteath, 1961년 출생)는 오스트레일리아의 역사가 겸 학술가다.그는 남호주 플린더스 대학의 현대 유럽사 교수다.몬테아스의 연구 관심사는 현대 유럽과 호주 역사에 있다.그는 특히 전쟁 포로, 수감자, 그리고 호주에 독일군이 주둔하는 것에 관심을 가지고 있으며 이러한 주제에 대해 광범위하게 글을 썼다.^[1][2]
