피터 M. 하스(Haas, 1955년 1월 23일 출생)는 매사추세츠 대학교 암허스트의[1] 정치학 교수, 베를린 위센샤프트젠트럼의 칼 도이치 방문 교수다.[2]

그의 연구는 인식론적 공동체, 세계 환경 정치, 다층적 통치, 그리고 세계 정치에서 과학의 역할에 관한 것이다.[3]

하스는 미시간[3] 대학에서 학부 교육을 받았고 1986년 매사추세츠 공과대학에서 박사학위를 받았다.[1][3] 1987년부터 암허스트에 재직하고 있으며 예일대, 브라운대, 옥스퍼드대 등에서 방문직을 맡고 있다.[4] 그의 아버지 에른스트 B. 하스는 또한 주목할 만한 정치학자였다.[3]
