메타바리는 인디애나주 포트웨인에서 나타니엘 데이비드 우츠치가 이끄는 미국의 전자음악 프로젝트다.[1]

역사

2008~2012년 메타바리는 포스트 록 지향적인 풀 밴드로 TX 오스틴에서 열린 SXSW 뮤직 페스티벌에서 EP 2개, 1개, 1개 정규곡을 발표하였다.[2][3]이 기간 동안 이 밴드는 포스트 록 장르에서 The Will Dreate You, Maserati, Tigher, The Appleseed Cast, Limbyc Systym과 베어 인 헤븐, 아나마구치, 티투스 안드로니쿠스 같은 다른 인디 그룹들과 함께 무대를 공유했다.[3]

2015년부터 Metavari는 Mind Over Matter Records(로스앤젤레스)와 함께 두 개의 레코드를 발표했다.[1]2015년 9월 오 다이앤,[9] 2017년 2월 테트라 A.D.[10]"오 다이앤"은 텔레비전 시리즈인 트윈 피크를 기리는 것으로, 컴파일인 The Next Peak, Vol III에 실렸다.[11]
