마셜 버드킨
Marshall Burdekin마샬 부르데킨(Marshall Burdekin, 1837년 4월 11일 ~ 1886년 11월 10일)은 오스트레일리아의 정치인이다.
그는 시드니에서 상인 토마스 버드킨과 메리 앤 보슬리 사이에서 태어났다.달링허스트에서 교육을 받은 그는 1859년 시드니 대학에서 미술 석사학위를 받았고 그해 말 술집으로 불려갔다.그는 1844년에 아버지로부터 많은 재산을 물려받았다.[1]
그는 1863년 보궐선거에서 리버풀 플레인스를 위한 뉴사우스웨일스 의회에서 선출되었고,[2] 1864-65년 선거에서 윌리엄스로 이적했다.[3]1866년 식민지 회계사로 임명되었으나 장관 보궐선거에서 패배하여 한 달도 채 안 되는 기간 동안 재임하였다.[4][5]1867년 이스트 시드니 보궐선거에서 국회로 복귀했으나 1869년 재신임하지 않았다.[6][5]
그 후 그는 주로 해외에서 살았고, 1877년 미국에서 중병에 걸렸고 1886년 영국에서 사망할 때까지 계속해서 병으로 고생했다.[1]
