Macintosh Application EnvironmentMacintosh Application Environment(MAE)는 애플 컴퓨터가 1994년 선보인 소프트웨어 패키지로, 유닉스 기반의 특정 컴퓨터 워크스테이션 사용자가 클래식 맥 OS용으로 설계된 애플리케이션 소프트웨어를 실행할 수 있도록 했다.
MAE는 X 윈도우 시스템을 사용하여 윈도우에 매킨토시 파인더 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스를 제공한다.그것은 유동 네트워크 라이선스를 허용하는 라이선스 매니저를 포함한다.[1]최종 버전인 MAE 3.0은 시스템 7.5.3과 호환된다.[2]
MAE 3.0은 Solaris 2.5 이상 및 HP-UX 9.05 또는 10.10용으로 설계되었다.[3]1998년 5월 14일에 단종되었다.
