맥코맥 칼리지(MacCormac College)는 일리노이 주 시카고에 있는 사립 2년제 대학이다.[2] 이 대학은 고등교육위원회가 인가하고 전국법관기자협회와 미국변호사협회의 승인을 받는다.[3][4] 맥코맥은 법원 보고, 형사 재판, 변호사 연구, 경영학, 기업가 정신의 관련 학위 프로그램을 제공한다.[5] [6] 이 학교는 시카고 시내, 이스트 매디슨 거리 29번지, 히스토리 헤이워스 빌딩 2층에 위치해 있다.[7]

역사

맥코맥 칼리지(MacCormac College)는 1904년 모튼 C 박사에 의해 설립되었다. 맥코맥과 그의 아내 메리 맥코맥은 시카고 대학 근처에 있는 시카고 남쪽의 하이드 파크에 있다. 맥코맥 박사는 50년 동안 이 학교의 초대 총장으로 일했다.[8][9] 이 학교는 1912년 미국 최초의 법정 보고 프로그램을, 1973년[10][11] 일리노이 주에서는 최초의 법정 보고 프로그램을 설립했다.[12] [13]

맥코맥 칼리지(MacCormac College)는 North Central College and School Association의 고등교육위원회(HLC)를 통해 인가된다. HLC는 미국 교육부가 인정한 독립 법인으로, 중부 지역의 학위 취득 후 교육기관을 인정한다.[14][15]
