지리
이 마을은 북동쪽(베라존도에서 남쪽으로 들어가 북쪽으로 콜로세움으로 나가는)을 지나는 북해안 철도 노선의 북쪽에 위치해 있다.브루스 하이웨이는 이 지역의 남서쪽을 통과합니다(콜롱가에서 남쪽으로 [4]들어가 북쪽으로 긴도란으로 나갑니다).
역사
1887년 14,350에이커(5,810ha)의 토지가 타워식 목축지에서 재개되었다.이 [5]땅은 1887년 4월 17일 소규모 농장 설립을 위해 선정되었다.
Lowmead 임시 학교는 1908년 5월 20일에 개교했다.1911년에 주립학교로 승격되었다.적은 인원으로 인해 1975년 12월 12일에 폐교되었으나 1978년 [6][7]1월 23일에 재개교하였다.
2011년 인구조사에서 로우메드의 인구는 [8]225명이었다.
2013년 1월과 3월에는 학교가 물에 잠기면서 학생들은 학년 [9]초에 몇 주 동안 결석했다.
2016년 인구조사에서 로메드의 인구는 156명이다.[1]
교육
Lowmead State School은 Lowmead Road 3077-3083번지(24°31rep28-S 151°4)에 있는 공립 초등학교(Prep-6)이다.4µ42ºE / 24.5244°S 151.7449°E / ( School)[10][11]2017년에는 교사 2명(상근 1명)과 비교직원 4명(상근 2명)[12]으로 14명이 등록했다.
