앤더튼스 뮤직은 1964년 아버지와 아들 해리, 피터 앤더튼이 설립한 가족 소유의 사업이다.[6] 리 앤더튼은 피터 앤더튼의 아들이다.

앤더튼스는 원래 제품 판매를 강조하고 제품 리뷰를 특징으로 하는 것을 목표로 2007년에 1차 유튜브 채널을 개설했다. 이 채널은 현재 약 72만5000명(2021년 5월)의 가입자를 확보하고 있다.[7]
