KOPR-TV는 1953년부터 1954년까지 운영되었던 미국 몬태나주 부테의 채널 4의 텔레비전 방송국이다.코퍼방송이 KOPR(550 AM)과 함께 소유했으며, 버트와 주에서 두 번째 아웃렛으로 스튜디오에서 방송하고 핀렌 호텔에서는 송신기를 내보냈다.

KOPR의 모회사인 Copper Broadcasting Company는 1951년 11월 30일 주(州)[4] 최초로 텔레비전 방송국 신청을 냈다.1953년 1월 연방통신위원회(Federal Communications Commission)가 새 TV 방송국에 동결 해제된 후, 같은 날 그레이트폴즈의 KFB-TV와 빌링스의 제안되었지만 건설되지 않은 채널 8 콘센트와 같은 날에 수여되었다.[2]

KOPR-TV는 1954년 봄에 처음 출시할 계획이었으나, KXLF-TV(채널 6)의 Butte의 다른 텔레비전 방송국이 시작하려고 계획하던 시기인 8월 15일로 목표일을 앞당겼다.[5]KOPR-TV는 1948년 시작된 이래 라디오 방송국이 근거지를 두고 있던 호텔 핀렌에 설치되었다.[6][7]첫 신호는 KXLF-TV 이후 불과 9일 만인 1953년 8월 23일 꺼졌다.[1]운용에 사용된 시설은 방송까지 서둘러야 한다는 것을 반영했다: 14,500와트의 유효 복사 전력이 허가된 반면, KOPR-TV는 단지 600만을 사용했다.[1]방송국은 CBS, ABC와 네트워크 제휴를 맺었으며,[6] 지역 쇼에는 뉴스, 스포츠, 날씨, 음악 프로그램인 Copper Bandstand가 포함되어 있었다.[8]

구리방송은 1957년 채널 6에서 제2의 KOPR-TV에 대한 건설허가를 취득했는데, 1958년부터 플리서 산에서 방송되었을 것이다.[12]어떤 방송국도 구체화되지 않았으며, FCC가 1965년 말에 미술라의 KGVO-TV와 버트의 KXLF-TV를 동시에 승인하여 서로의 서비스 영역에 번역기를 구축하도록 승인할 때까지 버트 시청자들은 다시 텔레비전 프로그램을 선택할 수 없을 것이다.[13]KGVO-TV 번역기는 1970년에 고출력 스테이션인 KTVM에 의해 대체되었다.[14]
