조이스 아순탄탕은 카메룬의 시인이자 창작 작가다.[1]그녀는 9개의 국제 시집에 기고했으며 현재 코네티컷주 웨스트하트포드 하트포드 대학에서 종신 교수로 재직 중이다.[2][3]

전기

아순탄탕은 중학교 때 출판물을 쓰기 시작했지만 글쓰기는 직업으로 생각해본 적은 없었다. 왜냐하면 그녀가 자란 카메룬에서는 글쓰기가 직업으로 제시되지 않았기 때문이다.그녀는 B학점을 받았다.야우데 대학 연극예술학부전공 A씨, 영국 애버스트위스대학 도서관정보과학 석사 카메룬씨, 헌터대학 영문학과 석사, 뉴욕시립대학 영·아프리카문학 박사과정 A씨.[4]

그녀는 4권 이상의 시집을 출판했으며 13권의 국제시집과 조경 후기 식민지화를 포함한 단편집 한 권에 기여했다.카메룬 앵글로폰 문학 보급(2009년)과 이들의 샴페인 파티는 끝난다: 베이트 베송을 기리는 시, 공동 집필(2008년), 불타는 재의 바구니(2010년), 아름다운 불(2018년)[5]을 기린다.그녀의 시는 스페인어, 그리스어, 히브리어, 터키어, 방글라어, 아랍어, 루마니아어로 번역되었다.[6]

수상

그녀의 상으로는 디트로이트 스피릿 오브 리더십 상(1987), 문화부, 카메룬, 극장 우수 공연상(1989, 1994), 벨 K 등이 있다.리비코프 교수·장학 우수상(2012), 카트락-방글라데시 문학상, 아프리카문학협회(ALA) 올해의 도서상 - 시집 <아름다운 불>(2018)으로 2020년 작가상을 받았다.[7][8]
