존 뉴이
John Newey
존 뉴이(John Newey, 1664년 12월 4일 ~ 1735년 9월 13일)[1]는 1727년부터 1735년까지 영국의 교회 신자, 치체스터[2] 학장이었다.[3]
인생
스태퍼드셔의 킨버에서 태어난 그는 킨버의 렉터인 조나단 뉴이의 장남이었다.뉴이는 킨버와 옥스퍼드 펨브로크 대학에서 교육을 받았다.[1]
1707년 5월 29일 그는 휠러의 첫 부인인 존 휠러와 도로시의 딸 앤 휠러와 결혼했다.[4]They had two sons and four daughters: Mary (9 September 1708 – 3 January 1767) married Dr Benjamin Hoadly (Bishop of Winchester); John (c1711-20 April 1737), fellow of Merton College, Oxford; Ann; Jane; Katherine; Samuel (c1722-2 October 1739), educated at Eton College and King's College, Cambridge.[5]
뉴이는 1735년 9월 13일 70세의 나이로 세상을 떠났고, 두 개의 기념관에 기념되어 있는 이첸 압바스 교회에 안장되어 있다.[5][6]

1692년 5월 22일부터 베켄햄에서 큐레이트를 한다.Wombourne에서의 Vicar (1693년 6월 8일 – 1696년 3월 10일)[7]그는 건강이 좋지 않다는 이유로 이 직책을 사임하고 런던으로 건너가 그레삼대학 음악 교수(1696년 10월 9일~1705년 12월 1일)[5]가 되어 왕립학회 회원으로 선출되었다(1696년 11월 30일).[1]그는 결혼 직전에 렉터와 이첸 압바스의 전 목사 (1707년 4월 25일 – 1735년 9월 13일)가 되어 교회 임무를 재개했다. 렉터:에이빙턴 (1722년 4월 9일 – 1726년 8월 31일); 치체스터 학장 (1728년 6월 21일 – 1735년 9월 13일)[7]
