제이 굴드 2세(Jay Gould II, 1888년 9월 1일 ~ 1935년 1월 26일)는 미국의 진짜 테니스 선수였으며 철도 거물 제이 굴드의 손자다.그는 세계 챔피언 (1914–1916)과 올림픽 금메달리스트 (런던, 1908년, 그 후 주 드 파움이라는 이름으로)를 지냈다.[1]1906~1925년 미국 아마추어 선수권 대회에서 연속 우승하며 18회 우승(미국의 제1차 세계 대전 개입 때는 대회가 열리지 않았다)을 달성했다.[2]같은 기간 미국 아마추어에게 한 세트도 지지 않고 단식 한 경기만 졌을 뿐 잉글랜드 챔피언 E.M. 배레인에게도 패했다.[3]그의 아버지가 조지아 법원 사유지에 지은 법정은 2005년 복원됐다.제이 굴드 2세는 2012 런던 올림피아드에 출전 자격을 얻은 미국 올림픽 사이클 선수 조지아 굴드의 위대한 삼촌이다.

전기

그는 1888년 9월 1일 조지 제이 굴드에서 태어났다.그는 컬럼비아 대학에서 교육을 받았고 1911년 반의 일원이었다.그는 콜롬비아 대학 1학년 때 이미 전국 테니스 챔피언이자 세계 테니스 챔피언이었다.[4][5]그는 또한 뉴욕의 컬럼비아 대학 클럽에서 스쿼시를 했다.[6][7]
