이니스필레즈 GAA는 핑갈 주 발그리핀에 본사를 둔 게일 체육 협회 클럽이다.

아일랜드 인디펜던트는 아일랜드의 COVID-19 대유행 당시 전날 오전 7시 이전에 이니스패일즈 GAA 클럽에 모였다고 보도한 올해의 올스타즈 브라이언 펜튼 등 감독 주도 단체 더블린 카운티 축구팀원들의 사진을 게재했다.이 세션은 GAA가 각 클럽과 카운티에 집단 훈련 금지를 무시하는 클럽이나 카운티 팀이 GAA의 복귀 의사를 "심각한 위험에 처할 수 있다"고 경고하는 쪽지를 보낸 지 약 12시간 만에 이뤄졌다.[1]이날 저녁 더블린 GAA는 신고의 정확성을 조사한 뒤 곧바로 효력을 발휘하며 자체 축구팀 감독인 데시 파렐을 12주간 정직시켰다.[2]그 사건은 정치인과 스포츠맨들로부터 많은 대중적 논평을 불러일으켰다.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

'had [they] that much to gain when we knew that the green light was being given to the GAA in a couple of weeks' time to get going. For a team like Dublin that are so professional in everything...
