한함은 브리스톨 교외다. 이 도시는 시의 남동쪽에 위치해 있다. Hanham은 South Gloucestershire의 단일 관할권에 있다. 2003년 4월 1일 시민 교구가 되었다.

한함의 우편번호 지역은 BS15이다.[1] 2011년 인구 조사 때 취해진 이 시민 교구의 인구는 6,128명이었다.[2]

거버넌스

같은 이름의 선거구가 존재한다. 병동은 한함에서 한함 압보츠까지 남쪽으로 뻗어 있다. 2011년 인구조사에서 채취한 병동의 총 인구는 10,311명이었다[3].

역사

한때 세계 챔피언이었던 맨주먹 복서 톰 크립브는 한함에서 태어났다.[4] 스티븐 머천트도 한함에서 태어났다.

Hanham은 또한 영국에서 Gordon Brown의 새로운 생태마을을 처음으로 재판한 곳이다.[5] 옛 한함홀병원 부지에 세워진 이 신도시는 고든 브라운이 제안한 5개 생태마을의 청사진이 되어 전국에 최대 10만 채의 무탄소 주거지를 공급하게 된다.[6][7]

블루볼은 국내에서 가장 오래된 공공주택 중 하나라고 주장되어 왔다.[8]
