괌 육상 협회(GTFA)는 괌의 육상 경기를 위한 관리 기관이다.[1]

역사

괌에서 뛰었던 역사가 잘 묘사되어 있다.[2]1966년 남태평양 경기에 괌 출신 선수들의 참가 기록이 기록되어 있다.[3]

GTFA의 기초는 1976년 AA에 보고되었고 1986년에 IAAF에 소속되었다.[4]

2001년부터 2004년 사이에 전직 마라톤 선수 프레드 슈만은 대통령으로 재임했다.[5]2005년에 프랭클린 탕갈린이 대통령으로 선출되었다.[6]제이 안토니오는 2009년 5월부터 2014년 12월까지 대통령으로 재직했다.

현 대통령은 데릭 맨델이다.2017~2021년 4월 당선됐다.[7]만델은 2021~2025년 8월 재선임됐다.

더욱이, 이 기구는 다음과 같은 국가 조직의 일부분이다.

GTFA는 2013년 11월 GNOC에 의해 중단됐다가 2018년 6월 부위원으로 복직됐다.[8][9]GTFA는 2021년 2월 GNOC 정회원으로 복권됐다.
