진류 '그라스' 왕 교수는 2018년 7월 1일부터 2020년 11월까지 SUNY 폴리테크닉 연구소 임시 총장을 역임한 중국계 미국인 엔지니어 겸 학술 행정가다.[1] 그녀는 2020년 12월 연구, 혁신, 지식 기업 부문 부사장으로 오하이오 주립 대학에 입학했다.[2]

교육

왕 교수는 베이징 화학 기술 대학에서 고분자 물질 학사 및 석사 학위를 받았고 노스웨스턴 대학에서 재료 과학 및 공학 박사 학위를 받았다.[3][4]

경력

Wang은 IBM과 Hitachi에서 자기 박막과 데이터 스토리지용 탄소 외투의 연구 개발에 주력하면서 경력을 쌓기 시작했다.그녀는 7개의 미국 특허를 가지고 있다.왕 교수는 2009년 6월 국립과학재단(NSF)에 나노기술, 첨단소재, 제조 분야 중소기업 투자를 중심으로 SBIR/STTR 프로그램 프로그램 담당 이사로 입사했다.그녀는 후에 산업혁신 파트너십(IIP), 부이사, NSF 엔지니어링 담당 부이사 대행이 되었다.

왕 교수는 2017년 미국 뉴욕 주립대에서 연구경제개발부 차관을 맡았고, 2017~2018학년도 SUNY의 중간제도로 활동하기도 했다.그녀는 버팔로 대학에서 공학 교수로도 일했다.왕 회장은 2018년 6월 이사회, 크리스티나 M. 존슨 SUNY 총리에 의해 임시 사장으로 임명되었다.[5][6][7]

2020년 12월 왕 부장은 오하이오 주립대에 연구, 혁신, 지식 기업 부문 상무로 입사했다.[8]
